Andrew has been creating and building for as long as he can remember, driven by a fascination with how things worked and a desire to bring his ideas to life. As a child, he constantly recreated objects using found materials and odds and ends gathered from wherever he could, transforming everyday scraps into imaginative mechanical builds. That passion for hands-on engineering eventually led to one of his most ambitious creations, “The Big Red Robot,” a massive all-steel robot capable of moving under its own power and designed as a showcase of creativity, fabrication, and engineering skill. Today, Andrew serves as the engineering robotics teacher at The Hewitt School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where he mentors an all-girls team competing in both VEX Robotics and Norwalk Havoc Robot League, helping students develop technical knowledge, confidence, and a lasting passion for engineering and innovation

Melissa is a creator in every sense of the word, blending artistry, storytelling, and craftsmanship into everything she does. An avid reader and lifelong creative, she has always been drawn to the process of making things by hand, whether through crocheting intricate pieces with nothing more than yarn and a hook or crafting immersive stories that grow into full-length novels. From detailed handmade creations to richly woven narratives, Melissa approaches every project with imagination, patience, and a passion for bringing ideas to life in meaningful and unique ways.
